Literally, this is the old historic Rutherfordton Firehouse. It has been beautifully appointed. My brother stays here every time he comes to town and loves it.

Newest hotel in the county, opened Jan 2018. Located on Sparks Drive just off 74 by-pass. Chili’s and Bojangles are directly in front of it. 828-382-1001.

There are other hotels on the 74 By-Pass in Spindale/Forest City, but I have not been in them and have heard less than good reports on their cleanliness, etc.  You may also want to look on Air B&B, but be certain you are looking for Rutherford Co NC and not Rutherford Co TN!

There are numerous good restaurants in our area within a few miles of the class, and the building is equipped with a full kitchen for those that prefer to bring their own food
