Literally, this is the old historic Rutherfordton Firehouse. It has been beautifully appointed. My brother stays here every time he comes to town and loves it. Located on the corner of 1st St and North Washington St.,\u00a0 Rutherfordton, about 3 miles from the class. A few steps away from Rutherford Thai, Main St. Market, Fly Boy Pizza, Clary’s Farm to Table, The Parcel, The Copper Penny, and Mi Peublito…all good places to eat.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Green River House<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Bed and Breakfast located on Coxe Rd (SR 1005), about 10 miles from the class location. Tours of the historic plantation are available. It’s a popular venue for weddings and corporate events, and they occasionally host teas and murder mystery dinners. Call (828) 286-1461 for reservations. The Plantation was built in 1807. It is one of the most beautiful properties in Rutherford County.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0Located on Sparks Drive in Forest City just off 74 by-pass, about 6 miles from the class. Chili\u2019s, Starbucks, and Bojangles are directly in front of it. Sonic, Little Caesars, the Cookout, and numerous other places are within a mile. 828-382-1001. About 5 miles from the class.\u00a0 The newest hotel in the county.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Holiday Inn Express<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Located on Holiday Inn Dr off 74 By Pass, Forest City, NC about 6 miles from the class. Call 828-755-2000 for reservations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

There are numerous Air B&Bs<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and VRBO<\/a><\/strong><\/span> accommodations in Rutherford County. The closest ones will be in the communities marked Rutherfordton, Spindale, and Shiloh. Rutherford County is the largest area-wise of the 100 counties in North Carolina, so going outside those areas for a B&B could be a much longer drive. Since the owners do not give you the exact address until you book, you may want to contact before booking to ask them how far it is from the Rutherfordton town limits.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
