2026 Classes
April 17-19, 2026 24 Hours of CE including Indian Head Massage with Christine Courtney and The Ethics of Working with People with Cancer with Laura Allen. You may register for one or both classes. Christine is the owner of Obus School of Healing Therapies in Leixlip, Ireland.
Note that the Ethics class will be on April 17 from 9am-12pm. Indian Head Massage will be April 17 from 1pm-6pm, and will meet on the 18th and 19th from 9am-6pm.
Indian Head Massage
This is one of the most beautiful massages to both give and receive. It opens the energy of the Heart Chakra, creating a deep sense of peace, connection, and calm. Many students describe it as a truly nurturing experience – one that touches both giver and receiver in equal measure.
This massage is especially supportive for clients who:
• have experienced loss or emotional change
• are recovering from illness or a challenging time
• or simply wish to feel cared for and uplifted
Aromatic Anchoring
During the course, you will also learn a gentle Aromatic Anchoring technique – a soothing ritual that can be adapted to help clients manage anxiety, such as fear of flying or other stressful situations. It helps to ground the body, calm the mind, and bring the client back to a place of balance and ease.
What will I learn?
During this 21-hour course you will learn:
A beautiful massage sequence for the:
o Upper back
o Arms
o Neck
o Face
o Head
• Ayurvedic philosophy of health
• An introduction to the Chakra System
You will also learn how to offer a warm oil treatment to nourish the scalp and hair.

Class will be at The Hut, located at 271 N. Tom St. in Rutherfordton. Just one block off of North Main St. in Rutherfordton, restaurants and B&Bs are located close by.
Cancellations 5 days in advance will receive a full refund. You must email Laura Allen directly at educatedheart@gmail.com to cancel. Cancellations of less than 5 days notice will not be refunded but will receive equivalent credit towards a future class.
